StatGoose is a casual pickleball club tracker. This page explains what information the service handles and why. We keep it minimal.

Information we collect

• Account information — an email address and password you provide to sign in. If you choose “Continue with Facebook”, we receive only your name, email address, and Facebook user ID from Facebook to create your account. We never post to Facebook on your behalf and request no other permissions.
• Club and game data — the player names, match scores, and reactions you record. Player profiles can exist by display name alone, without an account.
• Local device storage — your theme preference, active club, and any games queued while offline are stored in your browser so the app works and syncs. Analytics and advertising cookies may be set as described below.

How we use it

Data is used solely to operate the app — to authenticate you, record games, and derive ratings, standings, fantasy points, and feed content. We do not sell your personal information.

Analytics

StatGoose uses analytics to understand aggregate usage such as page views and referrers. This may set cookies. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Advertising

StatGoose may display ads served by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings.

Your choices

You can clear local data at any time by signing out or clearing your browser storage.

Deleting your data

You can have your account and associated personal data deleted at any time. Email statgoose@gmail.com from the address on your account (or, if you signed in with Facebook, the email on that Facebook account) with the subject “Delete my StatGoose data”. We will delete your account, your email address, and any Facebook identifiers we hold within 30 days and confirm by reply.

If you signed in with Facebook, you can also remove StatGoose from your Facebook Apps and Websites settings, which revokes our access to your Facebook information.

Note: match scores and club records created by a club remain with that club so its history and standings stay intact. On request we will replace your name in that history with an anonymous label.
